Case1 Sports organization support business

Theme: Formulation of future long-term roadmap for research and development business

Despite the research and development efforts made every year, the organization haven’t been able to achieve sufficient results compared to other domestic research and development bodies or similar research overseas. Hence, it was necessary for the organization to formulate a solid plan for future business expansion.
We helped the organization clarify the issues faced by the business, organize the measures required to generate world-class research results by involving excellent researchers and research organizations, and formulate a roadmap to reach the target state.

Case 2 Major pharmacy chain

Theme: Store structural reform

Due to the biennial revision of dispensing fees and medical fees, previously profitable stores were predicted to fall into the red (become a deficit structure). Structural reform was an urgent need to prevent this from happening.
We assisted in identifying stores that needed structural reform, creating new models, and formulating business plans for the new models. Later, the client decided to implement the new model.

Case 3 Global pharmaceutical company

Theme: Global operation reform

After completing the structural transformation to a global organization, an operational transformation was in need to become a true global organization.
Through the formulation of strategies as a global organization, the development of optimal processes, the selection of a global single vendor, and the formulation and implementation of a business transition plan, we not only achieved a 30% cost reduction, but also strengthened operational structure and improved quality.

Case 4 Nursing care facility operation company

Theme: Productivity improvement and formulation of guidelines

In order to cope with the shortages of labor and human resources at nursing care facilities, we led the business reform activities to improve productivity as a project commissioned by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.
The activities were carried out by involving Gemba and the improvement cases from the activities were used to support the formulation of guidelines (https://www.mhlw.go.jp/stf/kaigo-seisansei.html) for improving productivity in the nursing care service industry.
